Terms of Service

By creating an account, accessing, or using TalentCIO (available at talentcio.in), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree to these terms, you may not use our platform.

These Terms constitute a binding legal agreement between you and TalentCIO (operated by ILUMAA Ventures Pvt. Ltd., registered in India). If you are using TalentCIO on behalf of a company or organisation, you represent that you have the authority to bind that entity to these Terms.

TalentCIO is an HR and recruitment software platform that helps Indian businesses manage job postings, applicant tracking, HR workflows, and related hiring operations. The platform is accessible via web browser at talentcio.in.

TalentCIO serves two primary user types: (a) Employers and Recruiters, who use the platform to post jobs, manage candidates, and run HR workflows; and (b) Job Seekers, who use the platform to find opportunities and submit applications.

We aim to maintain platform availability of 99% uptime but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. Scheduled maintenance, upgrades, or events beyond our control may result in temporary unavailability. We will endeavour to provide advance notice of planned maintenance.

To use most features of TalentCIO, you must register and create an account. You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration and to keep your account information up to date.

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. You agree to notify us immediately at [email protected] if you suspect any unauthorised use of your account.

You must be at least 18 years old to create a TalentCIO account. By registering, you confirm that you meet this age requirement.

Each individual may maintain only one account. Creating multiple accounts for the same individual is prohibited and may result in account suspension.

Employers may post job openings on TalentCIO. All job postings must be for genuine, currently available positions. You must not post misleading, fraudulent, or discriminatory job listings. We reserve the right to remove any listing that violates these Terms or applicable Indian employment laws.

Employers are solely responsible for ensuring that their hiring practices comply with all applicable Indian labour laws, including the Equal Remuneration Act, the Persons with Disabilities Act, state-specific Shops and Establishments Acts, and all central labour legislation. TalentCIO is a technology platform and does not provide legal or HR compliance advice.

When you access candidate profiles or application data through TalentCIO, you agree to use that information solely for the purpose of evaluating candidates for the specific roles advertised. You may not use candidate data for unrelated marketing, share it with third parties outside your organisation, or retain it beyond the period necessary for the relevant hiring decision.

Paid features and subscription plans are subject to the pricing terms displayed on talentcio.in/pricing at the time of purchase. All payments are processed in Indian Rupees (INR). Subscription fees are non-refundable except as required by law or as stated in our Refund Policy.

You are responsible for the accuracy and completeness of your profile, CV, and application materials submitted through TalentCIO. Providing false information, fabricating credentials, or misrepresenting your qualifications is prohibited and may result in permanent account termination.

By submitting an application through TalentCIO, you consent to your profile and application data being shared with the relevant employer or recruiter. You agree not to submit applications for positions you are not genuinely interested in or qualified for.

TalentCIO may facilitate communication between you and employers through the platform. All communication must be professional and lawful. Unsolicited bulk messaging, spam, or abusive communications are strictly prohibited.

You agree not to use TalentCIO to:

• Post fraudulent, misleading, or discriminatory job listings
• Scrape, harvest, or systematically collect data from the platform without written permission
• Upload or transmit viruses, malware, or any harmful code
• Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the platform or another user's account
• Use the platform for any purpose that is unlawful under Indian law
• Impersonate any person or entity or misrepresent your affiliation
• Send unsolicited communications (spam) to other users
• Circumvent, disable, or interfere with platform security features
• Use automated tools (bots, scrapers) to interact with the platform without prior written approval
• Engage in any activity that unreasonably burdens our infrastructure

All content, software, design, trademarks, logos, and intellectual property on the TalentCIO platform are owned by or licensed to TalentCIO. You may not copy, reproduce, modify, distribute, or create derivative works based on our platform or content without prior written permission.

You retain ownership of content you upload to TalentCIO, such as job descriptions, CVs, and company profiles. By uploading content, you grant TalentCIO a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to store, display, and use that content solely to operate and provide our services.

If you provide feedback, suggestions, or ideas about TalentCIO, you grant us the right to use that feedback without compensation or attribution. This does not affect your ownership of any separately patentable inventions.

TalentCIO is provided on an 'as is' and 'as available' basis. We make no warranties, express or implied, regarding the accuracy, completeness, reliability, or fitness of the platform for a particular purpose.

TalentCIO does not guarantee that job seekers will receive job offers, or that employers will find suitable candidates through our platform. We are a technology facilitator, not an employment agency.

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable Indian law, TalentCIO and its directors, employees, and affiliates shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising out of or related to your use of the platform. Our total aggregate liability for any direct damages shall not exceed the amount you paid to TalentCIO in the 3 months preceding the claim.

You may close your account at any time by going to your account settings or by emailing [email protected]. Upon closure, your data will be handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

We may suspend or terminate your account at any time if we have reason to believe you have violated these Terms, engaged in fraudulent activity, or acted in a manner harmful to other users or the platform. We will endeavour to notify you before termination except where doing so would harm other users or violate legal obligations.

Upon termination, your right to use TalentCIO ceases immediately. Sections 6, 7, 8, and 10 of these Terms survive termination.

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India, including the Information Technology Act, 2000 and the Consumer Protection Act, 2019, where applicable.

Any disputes arising out of or in connection with these Terms shall first be attempted to be resolved through informal negotiation. If a dispute cannot be resolved informally within 30 days, it shall be submitted to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Gurugram, India.

In accordance with the Information Technology Act, 2000 and the IT (Intermediary Guidelines) Rules, 2011, you may direct any grievances to our Grievance Officer at: [email protected]. We will acknowledge your grievance within 24 hours and resolve it within 15 days.

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we make material changes, we will notify you via email or a prominent notice on our platform at least 7 days before the changes take effect, and update the 'Last updated' date below. Your continued use of TalentCIO after the effective date of any changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
